Welcome to Curry Leaf...
If you’re a discerning ‘curry head’ you need to come down to the Curry Leaf in the heart of Eastbourne.
You’ll find that we combine excellent, freshly cooked food with bright modern surroundings and friendly, efficient service.
Since we opened last July, our contemporary restaurant and gorgeous curries have built a great reputation with lovers of good Indian cuisine. Head chef and partner Ali Akbor is well known for creating dishes with individuality and depth of flavour, using skills honed over 35 years of working in kitchens across Europe. Now, with fellow partners Keith and Sam, Ali has brought his expertise to Eastbourne. Using the best ingredients from local suppliers we aim to provide a simply superlative dining experience – whether you visit the restaurant or indulge in our takeaway and delivery service.
Indian Cuisine so good that “5 stars is not enough”
Although we’ve only been open for a short time, we already have lots of loyal, regular customers and great friends – the reviews on Trip Advisor and in the press speak for themselves. Our restaurant is a break from the stereotypical Indian restaurant – instead we’ve created an intimate, beautiful and elegant space, full of inviting warmth, whilst feeling open and spacious.
We’d be delighted to welcome you to the Curry Leaf – pop in for lunch, or visit in the evening for a leisurely, luxurious evening of fantastic food.
We were nominated recently in the Eastbourne Achievers Awards Ceremony 2011 ............ Leisure and Tourist Attraction of the year category.
This is the 12th time the competitiona has been held...... it is organised by the local press and the council. We received the runner up prize in that category, finishing second to the Eastbourne Airbourne Show (a 4 day event including the red arrows each day). We are very pround of this acheivement and think that this is a remarkable achievement for a modest restaurant which has only been open 9 months.
Open six days a week including Holidays (except Christmas day). Closed Tuesday.

Evening: 6pm - 11pm
